Do You Read Stories on Kindle Vella? (Concurrently published on myLot.)

The story referred to in the photo was published on Kindle Vella under the pen name W.B. Sears.

About a year ago, Kindle started a new program for writers and readers called Kindle Vella. Have you tried it? Writers post serialized stories one chapter/episode at a time and schedule the release of each installment. The first three episodes are free to read and the rest are paid for with tokens. The more tokens you purchase at a time, the lower the unit cost. I have posted several stories on Kindle Vella and have enjoyed moderate success. It has proven much more lucrative than Wattpad and HubPages put together. Vella has a wide variety of genres to choose from. It is a good way to try out a story without having to invest anything but time.

Currently, Kindle Vella stories can be read on any device using the free Kindle App, but not on Kindle e-readers themselves. An odd decision by KDP, but hopefully they will soon make the stories available for their own devices.
